Avoid Fraud at Jobs

Stay Alert! Stay protected. Spot the RED FLAGS.

We at Paidtym, care for all our users. We dishonour and try to crack down on all possible fraud and misleading offers by employers or candidates.

Following are the few ways you can stay safe on any job portal, including PaidTym.com :

Most important and crucial is not to provide personal information including your personal/financial information (Credit/ debit card number, CVV number, OTP, etc.) to anyone. Our executives at Paidtym never asks for these details, our servers are safe and encrypted with world standard protocols for the safety of your personal information.

Fraudsters may ask you to pay in the pretext of registration fee, Refundable Fee, Document Processing fee or any other excuse. Before your respond to any email/call, we suggest you to do a discreet enquiry and be sure to verify the authenticity of the person with whom you are interacting. We at paidtym never allow our employers to charge anything from our candidates under any circumstances. Also, Paidtym is and always will be free for candidates to find remote jobs.

Apart from these two common ways of frauds, you shall also avoid the following ways of getting tricked or being mislead

Experience not required- if the ad or job post says that anyone can do the job, it might be a misleading job because all jobs need certain skills like to get the job done.

If anyone tell you that you’re selected and can join instantly, it might be a fraud. Most companies go through resume, analyse, speak to candidate via personal or virtual interview (post covid virtual interviews are very common)

NEVER, we repeat NEVER PAY MONEY TO GET A JOB. A serious employer never asks you to pay any amount (however small) to get the job.

Often too much salary is offered for the jobs to attract and mislead the candidates. AVOID SUCH JOBS or verify thoroughly.

Be alert! Almost all companies or even small businesses nowadays have at least some web presence. Job post from consultants shall also be defining something about role and brief of companies.

What can you Do?

Please do not provide your credit card or debit card details, bank information, CVV number or OTP number over phone, email or on their website. Before your respond to any email/ call, we suggest you to do a discreet enquiry and be sure to verify the authenticity of the person with whom you are interacting.
